Senokot Max Strength Senna Laxative - 24 Tablets

Senokot Max Strength uses the natural senna ingredients to help provide relief for constipation. It works as a laxative by stimulating bowel movement in the muscles and allows the stool to pass through more easily.

Constipation is caused when the stools in the bowels have lost moisture. This makes the bowel movements slow down or stop completely, causing the blockage in the gut. Constipation itself isn't a condition but instead a symptom. It can be a symptom of a number of different conditions.

Senokot uses the natural ingredient senna, which works to help the muscles in the bowel get back to natural working order. This will help clear the bowel and relieve constipation.

Senokot Max Strength is suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over. It is not suitable for anyone who is:
Suffering from paralysis or lack of muscle tone in the bowel
Having a blockage in the bowel
Currently suffering from appendicitis, ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease
Suffering from severe dehydration
Having abdominal pains
Bleeding in the rectum or suffering from faecal impaction
Suffering from kidney or heart failure
Still constipated after taking a laxative

You should also not use Senokot if you are allergic to the ingredients contained in them. These are:
Alexandrian Senna
Tinnevelly Senna
Calcium phosphate
Maize Starch
Lactose monohydrate
Magnesium stearate

No, do not take Senokot if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

You should only take one tablet at night. Normally, Senokot Max will work after taking 2-3 times. If problems still persist after a week or two, speak to a doctor or pharmacist.
